http://www.news-press.com/ The News-Press's extensive site is a cornucopia of information concerning the Southwest Florida (Ft. Meyers to Marco Island) area - a visitor's guide, coupons, shopping tips, restaurant list and reviews.  Just about everything you can think about is here, and the site's graphics and layout are impeccable.  I particularly like the "Best of Southwest Florida" listings based on the votes of the newspaper's readers.

Lee Island Coast Visitor & Convention Bureau Covers area around Ft. Meyers including Sanibel and Captiva, Bonita Beach, Cape Coral, Pine Island and Boca Grande, and Lehigh Acres. Discount coupon book available. Also has on-line print out coupons for accommodations discounts and others.

Marco Island / Naples Area

CityLink web site for Marco.  "The USA CityLink Project is a city's interface to the world. It is the Internet's most comprehensive listing of U.S. States and Cities offering information on travel, tourism and relocation."  Web site has very comprehensive "lists" of information.  If you're trying to find every restaurant on the island, or the 800 number for the Surf Club, this is the web site to check.  What it doesn't have is a lot of useful links to other web sites, at least not at the moment.
The Naples City Link site (see Marco above).  Extremely comprehensive "lists" of information.  Other content is still developing.
Naples Area Chamber of Commerce Site has the kind of "Florida colors" I've always wanted for the TUG Florida pages.  Guess you have to hire a big-money Web Site design firm to achieve. Nice live panning video camera out on the Naples Pier looking back on the beach. The big-money design firm that built this generated a memory hog - don't use with too many windows open - you could lock up your machine.
