We enjoyed our stay. Spring on the Cape is beautiful and we were lucky it happened to be very warm days and one day we went to the beach. We had to drive to Dennisport beach, but it wasn't far and parking was free. The dining was wonderful. We spent about 3 days in Boston, driving the hour back and forth. There is so much construction going on in Boston right now, but it is still beautiful. Also stopped in Plymouth which is about half way from Boston to Cape Cod, saw Plymouth Rock (which is surprisingly small) and visited Ocean Spray.
It was a very nice week and we were happy with the resort, I would
go back in the springtime for a trip like ours and definitely in the summer
to enjoy the beaches.
3/5/98 - The Marina Bay Club is located in Cape Cod. Although not right
on the beach, it is close to the beach and sits on a river. The club is
centrally located to many spots but you need a car to get around. The Marina
Bay Club is a typical "hotel like" property. It is not gorgeous, but it
is clean and a good place to stay if you would just like to spend some
time on Cape Cod. We went to a beach in Dennisport, not far from there,
and we would drive and park easily, and the beach was free. There are also
many good restaurants in the area. Accross the street from the MBC is a
restaurant and bar, although we did not go there so I cannot comment on
it.
To sum up, there are certainly nicer places to stay on Cape Cod, but this would be a fine place to stay for the week.
