They seem to have far more familiarity with the resort, and it seems to pull up every resort in England (except London) without any problem whatsoever. So I keep asking myself, why timeshare owners in England (who have much more familiarity with South Africa than I do) don't just buy here and use it to vacation in England, thereby saving $1000s on the purchase price and yearly dues over an English resort? Maybe they're just unaware of the opportunity. Or maybe they know something I don't. I would love to have more first hand information about South Africa and the Dikhololo resort to help me decide.

My understanding is that almost all of the owners at Dikhololo (and I have heard this from several sources), and other SA resorts are European, primarily from the UK. It is being marketed there, as well. The reason it now makes sense to maket it here, at this time, is that our dollar has risen in value, while the Rand has gone down, making this a great buy for us at the present time. By year end, the dollar is projected to go down in value and the deal won't be as favorable. We have to remember we are not talking about a low cost, low maintenance fee, resort. What we are talking about is a favorable exchange rate, making it low cost to us, at this time.
