I'm not Basil, but I am purchasing at Dikhololo through the same broker. You don't mention if this is a one or 2 bedroom. From the price I assume its a 1. That price is about $500 below the prices quoted to me and others I've heard from, and the closing costs are lower too. The maintenance fee is right on--I paid $108.00. I've also bought a 3 year RCI membership, really cheap, through this broker. The only difference I can see is, if all the detractors here on the BBS are right, I'll have bought through someone in the US with whom I may have some recourse. If I recall, the site you mention, when I looked at it, included only south african sellers.

As for the exchange, I've been watching it for a couple of weeks, and its right around R6.30/$1.

> Basil: I have received an offer to sell a floating red-time week for 6500 Rand ($1048) with 350 Rand ($56.44) closing costs, maintenance fee 680 Rand ($109.70). I am using the currency converter at DikholoConnection. Does this compare with your calculations?
