You might want to check out Alpenland Sporthotel in St. Johann, Austria. It is a 5 star II resort and I know that Holiday Timeshares always has foreclosed units for under $2,500. I've been there and can vouch for the quality of the resort and it's prime location outside Salzburg. (check out my tug review). There are hardly any timeshare resorts in Austria due to legislation, so they are always difficult to get into during the red season. You might want to check it out. We thought about buying there, but already own three timeshares and really need more vacation to justify buying any more.

At pg.29,thedesignation of the Gold Crrown or RID comes into play when demand andcomments on the resort are evaluated;it thatpart of "...the {RCI] system that determines which resorts you can trade into will effectively do that through the demand/comment ratings."If the demand isn't there because the supply of units being deposited suddenly increase, with the positive comments remaining constant, the trading value of the unit will drop. In fact, if you go to your own resort, you should complete the evaluation comments questionnaire because that will drive up the trading value of your resport if enough positive comments are reported.
> I don't fill out the II questionnaire for any of the resorts I go to or give away to a friend, and I suggest that most of you don't either. IMHO, increasing the supply of the SA units by as little as 10, may substantially reduce its ability to bring up good trades. So the first 10 buyers will benefit, and any more than that, will hurt everyone else. Now, we have to come up with a fantastic II trading unit for me. Any suggestions?
