The trade power really is hard to believe. Maybe I should chalk it up to being new, but I contacted the selling broker who told me there was a waiting list to get into the resort (for exchanges) and that as soon as my week was deposited, it would be taken within hours to days. Not wanting to be terribly foolish, I called the RCI folks in South Africa directly. They said they had no exhanges available and that there was, in fact, a waiting list. So I called RCI domestically. They told me that US demand for this resort (or any South African resort) is non-existent. She told me that the demand for the South African resorts comes almost exclusively from northern and western Europe. The main demand for the resorts in this area is that it is at a game perserve and European parents use this as an alternative to the perserves around Nairobi. In addition, it is about 15 miles away from Sun City, which is their local Las Vegas. Long story short, I/we bought a unit today. Peoples feedback about Tom being on the up-and-up was probably the deciding factor. Yes, it's a risk. I'll let you know in a few weeks what kind of trades I'm seeing on RCI when the weeks get posted to my account; although I have to join them first.

BTW, I printed out the threads and showed them to my wife; while we were discussing the resort. She was amazed that all the information available on these boards and how wide-ranging the opinions were; and that people came back and defended Tom's integrity. She now understands, a little better, why I am spending less time in front of the TV and more time at the computer trying to learn more about timesharing. Thanks for all the contributions.

> Gang, if you are looking for the best kept secret in timesharing, I have the resort for you. Its in South Africa and is called Dikhololo (RCI #1999). If anyone is interested in purchasing, please email me. The above info is 100% legit! Thanks
